Low Carb Minty Lamb Burgers

  • 1 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 Medium Onion - finely chopped
  • 2 Cloves Garlic - finely chopped or crushed could use garlic paste
  • 400 gm Minced lamb
  • 2 tsp Mint sauce
  • 2 tsp Cumin powder
  • Salt and pepper


  1. Cook onions and garlic in olive oil until soft. Set aside to cool slightly.

  2. In a large bowl mix all the ingredients together - onion, garlic, lamb, mint, cumin and season with salt and pepper.

  3. Divide mixture into 12 equal amounts and roll into balls.

    Flatten each into a burger shape and then leave to rest in the fridge for at least 10 minutes.

  4. Cook on grill for between 6 and 8 minutes each side ensuring they are thoroughly cooked through before serving.

Recipe Notes

Serve in between 2 grilled field mushrooms or with a lovely fresh salad accompanied by a Homemade Coleslaw.

Or or make up some mint yoghurt using Greek yoghurt, mint sauce and season with salt and pepper.
